I Wish For Love ~
This Christmas
the angels are at work
To bring down gifts of love
This Christmas
Lord Jesus,
Give me the light of hope
Give me the warmth of friendship
To help me cope.
I do not long for presents,
That is not what Christmas is all about,
Gifts are not enough
I only want someone to
Look on me
with true love.
Give me peace this Christmas
Let me begin a new life;
A life that is not shattered,
For love wants to climb in to stay
I wish this Christmas to have some love,
Lord Jesus, come to me today.
